SSE Renewables is essential to Scotland’s energy generation. It plans, develops and operates large scale renewable energy sites using wind and hydro resources. These include the Glendoe Hydro, the Foyers Pump Storage hydro scheme and the windfarms at Stronelairg and Dunmaglass. SSE’s funding to the Trust is linked with output from Glendoe, Stronelairg and Dunmaglass windfarms.
