FIVE THINGS FOR A FRIDAY
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Trust Annual General Meeting has been our focus this week. It was quite a build up as, on top of the work we had to do for the meeting itself, we decided to devote our Dec/Jan newsletter to an ‘Annual Report’ format and figures have been flying around everywhere! We hope to send out a revised version to every household which reflects items that came up at the AGM itself alongside some additional news in the next few weeks.
Many of you have been involved taking projects forward this and into next year. One project is PlayParks. Details of whats been done so far and how you can get involved can be found here Playpark Consultation Update | 23 November 2022 | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk)
THE PULSE SURVEY
At the AGM we also produced the results of the Stratherrick and Foyers Pulse Survey. We will publish them in more detail next week on the website and in the forthcoming newsletter. It is really positive news with some items improving since last year, some still where they were and some interesting movement from those who last year strongly disagreed/disagreed to agree/disagree or agree/strongly agree. Still room for improvement and the information guides us on how we can direct our resources accordingly.
SELF BUILD HOUSING GRANTS
Do you want to self build in the local area – then you now have a grant to do it. Details can be found here Funding for self-build homes - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)
