Hi my name is Neil and I have now lived in the area for four years. I took early retirement as Technical Manager/Principle Engineer from the Semiconductor Industry to settle for a slower pace of life. I met my wife Kathleen; who was from Inverness; and moved to Foyers from Edinburgh. I have four grown up children and two dogs. My hobbies include weaving, wood turning, gardening and electronics. I also have a fishing boat that is yet to meet the waters of Loch Ness. To supplement my hobbies I am the cleaner and maintenance assistant at the Foyers Surgery and you may find me there very early in the mornings.
This lively community is a true asset to the area. I am a trustee at Boleskine Community Care, a member of the Foyers Bay Steering group and now a Director at SFCT. I hope to bring some of my fact based project management skills and technical expertise to the Trust and form a better cohesion between the groups and community members.
